The Academy of Culinary Arts:
The Academy’s principal function is to promote public awareness and appreciation of the highest standards of food, cooking and service by example and education. A vital element of this is a commitment to good practice, and to the highest standards of food provenance and food quality. A second and most important objective is to attract young people into the industry and to motivate them through significant levels of training.

Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies:
The Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies is a specialist hospitality college offering NVQs, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Over 6,500 students come from all over the UK and overseas to study full and part time courses. Professional development programmes for those in work range from Foundation degrees in hospitality to short courses in wine appreciation and food hygiene. Based in Birmingham city centre the college has three excellent restaurants open to the public. A recent OFSTED inspection rated all subject areas as Grade 1 (outstanding), a rare achievement of which the College is very proud.

The Food and Drink Information Centre:
The Food and Drink Information Centre works to identify and implement appropriate business support activity for Food and Drink businesses and actively supports networks of businesses who wish to collaborate and support other projects. It is a free information service on 0845 450 6111.

Heart of England Fine Foods:
HEART of ENGLAND fine foods represents food and drink producers from the West Midlands region. Recognising that increasing consumer demand for niche products provides a valuable business opportunity for the hospitality industry, HEFF promotes innovative, quality, regional products from the West Midlands.

The Midlands Association of Chefs:
The Midlands Association of Chefs or MAC as it is known to its members was formed in 1978 with the resolve to create an association which would promote, encourage and perpetuate the tradition and classical art of cookery. The Association is involved in various competitions and awards including many Salon Culinaires throughout the Country.

The Midlands Association of Restaurants, Caterers, Hotels and Entertainment:
MARCHE is committed to promoting and protecting the interests of your industry. Whether you’re independent or part of a chain, large or small, supplier or service provider MARCHE provides a unique focus for organisations of all sizes from every relevant sector.

West Midlands Regional Food and Drink Cluster Skills:
The vision for the West Midlands Regional Food and Drink Cluster Skills is to over the next decade become a vibrant cluster characterised by our collaboration, innovation and competitiveness in the food and drink industry. Across the Region we will develop a distinctive focus on sustainable and higher value-added production, consumption and markets. The Regional Food and Drink Cluster Skills is managed by the Learning and Skills Council Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
